教育学啊教育学。但是各位注意啊,你如果想到的是诸如“激发想象力、创造力”、“拓展视野”、“促进大脑发展”此类观点,那么请好好想想,是不是这些观点放哪边都能写啊?放哪边都能写的话是不是废话啊?啊?你说啊?这就和咱们好多小伙伴开头一定要放一个“随着科技社会经济的发展”一个道理。为啥?这些通识大家都知道,不用去凑字数了。每当我读到类似表达时,脑子里会自动翻个大白眼。还有,作对比的时候也不要出现什么“有害视力”这种两方面都有可能导致的结果,OK?
还有请注意,这篇文章我并没有明显偏向哪一方,而是认为这几种方式“各有优点”,因此应该“合理分配”,在雅思写作中,这种处理手法也是可以的。

Nearly one-third of children now live in a household where thetelevision and the computer are on all or most of the time. Some argue watchingTV and playing computer games could help children and adolescents update theirknowledge and offer them inspiration(激发灵感).However, for me, children can alsobenefit from reading story books.
Body paragraph 1 (读故事书的益处1)
First, some studies have proven that reading stories - especiallythose with strong narrative arcs(叙事主线) - reconfigures (vt. 重新配置) brain networks for at least afew days. This may have profoundimplications for children and the role of reading in shaping their minds (塑造心智). The storytelling aspect of a story is a multi-faceted (adj. 多方面的) form of communication thatengages a broad range of brain regions. Hence, becomingengrossed in (全神贯注于) a story enhances (vt. 提高) connectivity(n. 联结性) inchildren's brain and improves their brain function.

Second, reading story was found to improve the reader's ability to put themselves in another person’s shoes (设身处地) and flex the imagination (移情想象力) in a way that is similar to the visualization(形象化) of amuscle memoryin sports. Losing themselvesin various roles and plots (n. 场景) in the story might increasechildren’s empathy (n. 移情作用) and can help them experiencebeing "emotionally transported". Additionally, reading can also boost children’s language learning efficiency(提高语言学习效率) –writing skills and increased vocabulary in particular.

Some different voices indicate that interactivegaming (交互性强的游戏) can have positive effects on cognition(n. 认知能力) bypromoting memory, attention, and reasoning. Watching TV, as also argued, can be as educational as going toschool, because children can learn from cablechannels (有线电视频道) such as Discover, National Geographic, and the History Channels.Based on this, gaming and TV watching should be encouraged. However,researchers found that much of young children's television viewing is mindlesswatching, requiring little or no thinking, and pre-schoolers who spend hours onvideo games each day illustrate a weaker understanding of other people'sbeliefs and desires, and reduced cognitivedevelopment (认知发育).

In conclusion, reading stories books, watching TV and playingcomputers games have some of the same benefits for children, such as promotingintelligence development and offering inspiration. There is a distinct need forefforts that involve both parents and educators in finding methods to helpchildren become selective, critical viewers who can deal proficiently with bothvisual and print media (视觉和印刷媒体).
